Claire Teal has proved herself equally adept as pop singer and jazz diva. On her eighth album, Get Happy , she mixes up a bit of everything: pop and jazz standards along with some of her own material. As the title suggests, it's a largely upbeat album, unsurprising for a singer that exudes warmth and cheer much more naturally than melancholy or wistfulness.
