• Helping Haiti is a collection of twenty-one pop stars put together by music mogul Simon Cowell, with the aim of recording and releasing 'Everybody Hurts' as a charity single in aid of the people affected by the Haiti earthquake.
  
  The line-up, which includes the likes of Leona Lewis, Joe McElderry, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, JLS, Robbie Williams, Take That, Susan Boyle and Michael Buble, each recorded their vocals separately, for the cover of the REM classic Everybody Hurts.
  The single clocked up record sales, selling over 200,000 copies within the two days of its release.
