Festival Frenzy.

We are right on the verge of the Festival season and it kicks off with Radio 1's Big Weekend from 24th-26th May in Derry-Londonderry. The extravaganza attracts big names in the music world and this year is no exception. The fantastic line up includes Calvin Harris,Dizzee Rascal,The Vaccines, Ellie Goulding, The Script and Jake Bugg to name just a few. The Big weekend promises three days of great music.

But that's only the beginning. The real Festival frenzy takes off in June. The Isle of Wight Festival kicks off on 13 June and then the big one – Glastonbury from 26th – 30 June, T in the Park on 12th July. Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park 29th 30th June headlines Bruce Springsteen. Lovebox 19th 21st July in Victoria Park London headlines Plan B and of course there's the Cambridge Folk Festival 25th-28th July and Reading/Leeds 23rd-25th August. That's just a few of many great music events 2013.
