An array of stars perform for the Queen
Last night saw a whole host of stars gather in Blackpool for the Royal Variety Performance. Lady GaGa, Alexandra Burke, Michael Buble, Anastacia, Bette Midler, Katherine Jenkins, Lulu, Chaka Khan and Whoopi Goldberg were just some of the stars who sang on the night.
Diversity, the winners of Britain's Got Talent, got their chance to perform and wowed the audience with their routine, which was set against a backdrop of Buckingham Palace. The national anthem was led by Faryl Smith alongside The Soldiers, who were kitted out in their army gear.
This year the show, which took place at Blackpool's Opera House, was hosted by comedian Peter Kay, who made a number of jokes comparing the Queen to his Nanna, who was also sat in the audience. It's the first time in over 50 years that the show has been held in Blackpool, the performance will be broadcast this year on ITV 1 on Wednesday 16th December at 7.30pm.
