Florence and The Machine top the UK album chart
After 28 weeks since their debut album, Lungs was released Florence and The Machine have knocked Paolo Nutini's album, Sunny Side Up, off the top spot to make it to number one in the UK album chart.
Meanwhile, Vampire Weekend's album, Contra was the highest new entry at three, whilst Lady Gaga's The Fame took fourth spot, as well as picking up the accolade of spending a massive 53 weeks in the chart. A new entry from Surrey band, You Me At Six, with Hold Me Down took fifth place.
Elsewhere in the singles chart, Iyaz's track Replay hung on to the top spot, Owl City came in at number two with their single Fireflies and Riverside (Let's Go) by Sidney Samson grabbed third place.
