Rod Stewart to appear on Strictly

It's been announced that crooner Rod Stewart, will be performing on Strictly Come Dancing this Saturday. The show will be broadcast from the famous seaside resort of Blackpool, live from the Ballroom inside the iconic Tower.

Rod will sing the track 'Same Old Song' and his wife Penny Lancaster will dance the Cha Cha Cha along to the music, with the Strictly dancer, Matthew Cutler as her partner.

Penny was a contestant on the 2007 series of Strictly Come Dancing, but until now didn't get the opportunity to dance the Cha Cha Cha.
