Beyonce does the treble at the MTV awards
Beyonce emerged as the queen of the MTV Europe music awards last night, picking up three gongs for Best Female, Best Video for 'Single Ladies' and Best Song for 'Halo'.
The event which took place in Berlin, was hosted by Katy Perry and marked the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. As well as picking up the prize for the Best Live Act, U2 paid tribute, performing the song 'One' which was originally inspired by the fall of the wall.
Eminem also picked up an award for Best Male, with Lady Gaga named Best New Act and Green Day winning Best Rock.
