High demand for 'The Quickening' by Kathryn Williams

It looks as though retailers have been caught off guard by the demand for the newly released album by Kathryn Williams. The CD only went on sale on February 22nd, coinciding with a series of concert dates up and down the UK, but with the one exception of HMV, it has completely sold out. Fans and critics are describing the album as Jenkins best work.

Described in both the folk-rock and country genres, Kathryn's music is difficult to classify. The artist's persona is described in this album, something previous recordings have avoided. The music is gentle, provocative and wonderfully lyrical, with absolutely cracking percussion arrangements, and a voice from a folk singing heaven. We expect Kathryn Williams to take this summer's music festivals by storm. Tracks from the CD include: Little Lesson; 50 White Lines; Winter Is Sharp; Smoke; and Just a Feeling. Why not listen here at find-cd.co.uk to the tracks and compare prices from a large list of retailers before deciding whether to buy or download 'The Quickening'.

Limited tickets are available for some of the concerts held this week, (apparantly Williams suffers badly from stagefright) and retailers are keen to reassure that the CD recording is available to order and will be dispatched as soon as it arrives in stock. However if you can't wait, you can order it today from HMV at the price of £7.99, which is only 10p more expensive than the cheapest price, and definitely worth the additional pennies for this gorgeous album.
