Prince to get lifetime achievement award at the BETS
It's been announced that Prince is to pick up a lifetime achievement award at this month's Black Entertainment TV awards, in Los Angeles.
The talented singer-songwriter will be honoured for his success in the music industry over the last thirty years. The superstar has had 10 platinum albums and has notched up 30 top 40 singles, he's also been famed for founding the Minneapolis sound - a combination of pop, rock, funk, R n B and New Wave.
