The UK Album Chart: 3 October 2010: Compare CD Prices
This week's album charts see five new entries straight into the top 10 slots: Mark Ronson; The Central Band of the RAF; KT Tunstall; Eric Clapton; and Simply Red have all released new albums in the last week. Phil Collins released 'Going Back' and went straight into number two at the end of September and sees his record slip a place to number three. Katy Perry is down 2 to number 10 following five successful weeks in the top 10. The amazing Mumford and Sons Debut album is now in its 52nd week in the album charts and still going strong up 3 to 6th.
However the mighty 'The Script' just keeps going from strength to strength. 'Science and Faith' was released three weeks ago and is currently the UK's number one selling album. Their previous album entitled after their namesake 'The Script' is still in the top 40 after 98 weeks. Tour dates have been released and are selling like hot cakes.
