Find super CD's for less than a fiver

With the effects of the credit crunch biting this year following the massive cuts to public spending, we know that every penny you spend on Christmas presents count. But most of us still want to find something special we know our friends and family will enjoy. We have hunted out some brilliant CD's costing less than £5 that we think will make perfect presents.

Susan Boyle is now famous for her sensational performances on Britain's Got Talent. Did you know that you can purchase her superb debut album 'I dreamed a dream' for £3.99 from 3 of our online retailer's?

Critic's choice award winner at the Brits, Adele and her superb vocals can be enjoyed on the CD '19 by Adele' for £4.50.
The outstanding Tom Jones released Praise and Blame this summer, a collection of songs with a strong spiritual and rhythm and blues influence that remind me of the amazing voice of pastor Solomon Burke, a regular with Jools Holland's Rhythm and blues band. HMV and Amazon are currently offering Praise and Blame for £4.99.

Lady Gaga's, 'The Fame Monster'
and Paloma Faiths 'Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful' are available today at £4.93.

JLS' debut album is available for £3.93, or maybe you would prefer a female voice of experience, in which case you can purchase Kylie Minogue's Aphrodite for £4.99.

The talented musician and singer songwriter Katie Tunstall has released her first new album in three years this autumn and today, Tiger Suit can be purchased for £4.99.

This year Mercury awards showcased some amazing new talent. Here are the shortlisted albums that are currently available for under £5.

And whilst we are on the subject of the Mercury Awards it is worth mentioning a couple of brilliant albums that are just above the price of £5 but in my view are the two best albums to be released in 2010. The performers 'I am Kloot' and Mumford and Sons are just brilliant musicians and both have produced albums that do not have one disappointing song amongst them.

And back to under a fiver again and we have the fantastic album by the gorgeous Paolo Nutini - Sunny Side Up retailing at £4.93 and worth every single penny and more!!
