The UK Album Chart October 2011

The album charts for this week show three new entries in the top 10 slots: You Me At Six are climbing up to the top at number 3 closely followed by Lady Antebellum at number 4 and Ben Howard easing in at number 7. The amazing Adele has moved back up to second place after 37 weeks in chart. After four weeks in the chart Ed Sheeran has slipped down two places to number 5 and Kasabian after three successful weeks are now down four places at number 6.

Bruno Mars had almost slipped out of the top ten after a fantastic 39 weeks in the chart but here he is climbing back up again into 8th place. The legendary crooner Tony Bennett has climbed 6 places after only three weeks into 9th place, and hanging onto 10th place is David Guetta.
Up at the top of the album charts is James Morrison. His album "The Awakening" was released only two weeks ago and is going from strength to strength. There is no doubt there will be some competition for the top Christmas position and the next few weeks should come up with a few surprises.
